It’s hard to believe the first quarter has already come to a close—time truly flies! With the limited time we have with your children, we strive to make every moment count in supporting their growth and learning.
Today, your student brought home their report card, which includes valuable feedback. This is also a great opportunity for us to hear feedback from you. Your insights help us understand what’s working well and where we can improve.
We’d love to hear from you!
Please take a moment to share your feedback:
Upcoming Reunification Drill
Wednesday, November 5th
We will continue to send reminders and updates about the reunification drill. Here are a few key points to know:
- Please turn in your updated contact info ASAP, by Monday, October 27th if at all possible!
- Wait for official notification before leaving from home/work to pick up your student.
- See attached map for parking instructions. Parking on Siggard Dr. and at the school is prohibited.
- Start at the greeting table to complete a reunification form for each child.
- Proceed to the check-in table after completing the form.
- Expect some wait time—we’ll be verifying identification for all 600 students. We’ll have extra staff on hand, but it may feel a bit like waiting in line at Disneyland!
- Students will not take personal items home that day. We recommend leaving backpacks and phones at home.
- Essential items like lunchboxes and water bottles will remain in classrooms and can be picked up the following day. Consider sending lunch in a disposable container or opting for school lunch.
- Notify your daycare provider that your child will not need transportation after school if you are participating in the drill.
- If you need to check out your student for a prior obligation, please do so before noon if possible, or 1 p.m. at the latest.
- If you are not participating in the drill, your student will be dismissed at 3:20 p.m. as normal.
