If they can&#8217;t do it, say something like, &#8220;I won&#8217;t do it for you, but tell me how I can help.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Let Them Make Mistakes:<\/strong> We want them to know it&#8217;s okay to do it wrong and make mistakes. Try saying, &#8220;Even I make mistakes sometimes,&#8221; or &#8220;Let&#8217;s look at what we can learn from this.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Build Their Confidence:<\/strong> Focus on what&#8217;s going well, even if it&#8217;s a just bit of progress. Try saying, &#8220;I see you get better at that each time you do it,&#8221; or &#8220;Look at how well you did that!&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Be There for Them No Matter What:<\/strong> Let them know you are on their team no matter what.
