Have you talked with your children about the dangerous effects of drugs and alcohol? According to the website, redribbonweek.org, “Children of parents who talk to their teens regularly about drugs are 42% less likely to use drugs than those who don’t, yet only a quarter of teens report having these conversations”.
Red Ribbon Week is the perfect time to talk with them! Our school will be celebrating this week on September 29th thru October 3rd. Please help support this event with our children by discussing with them what they learned this week.
Here’s some of the fun stuff we’ll be doing!
Monday: Kick-Off to Red Ribbon Week
Tuesday: Turn your back on drugs
Wear your shirt backwards
Wednesday: Don’t let drugs make you crazy
Crazy Hair Day
Thursday: Sock it to Drugs
Crazy Sock Day
Friday: We’ll team up against drugs
Wear favorite team shirt
