We hope you had a great summer! Thanks to those parents and students who came to our registration on August 2; that really helped us get current contact information and signatures for the school and district’s policies and procedures.
Since we are having Breakfast in the Classroom (BIC) this year, students do not need to be at school until 8:55 am. The district does not provide supervision for students before school; please make sure your children don’t arrive at school before 8:55 am 🙂
The Utah Food Bank will be providing the Mobile Food Pantry again this year on the second Monday of each month; if the weather permits, it will be on the southwest side of the school. If it is stormy or cold, we will move it inside to the gym or library. The dates are: September 11, October 9, November 13, December 11, January 8, February 12, March 12, April 9 and May 14. The Mobile Food Pantry is for the family of students enrolled at Pleasant Green.
Please supervise what your child wears to school 🙂 The students are at recess three times each day and should wear sturdy shoes that allow them to run and play on the playground equipment; flip-flops often lead to stumbles and falls. Clothing should be conducive to the school environment; clothing should not have designs or messages about tobacco, alcohol, drugs or inappropriate behavior/words. “Shorts” should not be more than 2-3″ above the knees; please not tank tops or spaghetti straps.
