We appreciate the great turnout at our SEP Conferences last week. Its very important that parents and teachers communicate about student progress throughout the year. Please take a few minutes to join the Parent Portal through which you will be able to check on your student’s work, grades, missing assignments, etc. For assistance, please contact your child’s teacher or our technology specialist, Mrs. Unander (385 646-4972).
Please join our PTA and help support their efforts for our students. The PTA provides many services including: vision screening, Book Fairs, field trips, Red Ribbon Week, maturation for 5th and 6th graders, Teacher Appreciation, etc.
During the American Red Cross Blood Drive, our school had a record 54 donor heroes; those donations are credited with helping 162 people who needed blood or blood products. Thank you to our student heroes who encouraged their family members and friends to donate this year! The classes who won the pizza and ice cream party are: Mrs. Stevens, Mrs. Vaai and Mrs. Heal. All students who brought in a donor will also be invited!
With the weather getting cooler, please remind your child to wear a jacket; students are outside at recesses three times each day.
