Next Wednesday, January 10, is our Parent Empowerment Night at Cyprus High School (Brockbank Campus).
Held three times per year in alternating networks. We have already had one at Skyline High, and there will be one at Taylorsville High this Spring.
Presenters from both State and District share information on a variety of subjects that are important in the lives of our students and their parents. These subjects include: College and Career Readiness, Bullying Prevention, Substance Abuse Prevention, Making Sense of Student Assessment, Navigating GoMath and Wonders Websites, Engagement and Attendance, Mental Health Issues, Internet Safety, Preventing Child Sexual Abuse, Parent Involvement.
These presenters are there to help parents feel more informed, empowered and involved in their children’s lives and education.
The evening consists of dinner (for first 200 parents), and 3 class rotations. No need to sign up, just show up and attend the three classes that you are most interested in.
This evening is for parents/guardians only. We ask that students not attend.
