These five non-negotiables are: Using District provided tools and assessments, exercising fidelity to the Common Core, using the District&#8217;s instructional framework, working within Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), and implementing Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS)<strong><span style=\"color: #993300;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Stating daily content and language objectives<\/li>\n<li>Posting a daily agenda<\/li>\n<li>Effective and consistent interventions\/enrichment and supports (including small group instruction and flex time)<\/li>\n<li>Timely and organized data collection and analysis (observations, assessments and progress monitoring)<\/li>\n<li>Quality instruction that keeps pace with and is aligned to the Common Core Standards<\/li>\n<li>Using Positive Behavioral Supports and Interventions<\/li>\n<li>Individualized classroom management techniques to enhance learning and instructional time<\/li>\n<li>Differentiated instruction to ensure all students are engaged and able to learn daily content objectives<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Students will be working on&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Doing\u00a0<strong><em>quality<\/em><\/strong> work and handing in assignments<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 13px;\">Learning and adhering to the school wide behavioral expectations (Be Respectful, Keep Your Hands, Feet and Other Objects to Yourself &#8211; KYHFOOTY, Be a Leader)<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Self-discipline and doing their best<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring their own grades and progress through student portfolios<\/li>\n<li>Working towards rewards<\/li>\n<li>Reflecting on their learning and growth<\/li>\n<li>Increasing their scores in Language Arts, Math and Science to demonstrate proficiency\/growth<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How parents\/guardians can help us reach our goals&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 13px;\">Be involved in your child&#8217;s education<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Check your child&#8217;s grades often online (<a href=\"https:\/\/portal.graniteschools.org\/\">Focus<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>Volunteer wherever and whenever you can<\/li>\n<li>Become a member of the PTA<\/li>\n<li>Read with your child every night<\/li>\n<li>Make sure your child does his\/her homework (follow up with teacher if your student is saying he\/she doesn&#8217;t have any)<\/li>\n<li>Insist that your child does quality work and performs at his\/her best<\/li>\n<li>Work with teachers and the principal if you have questions or concerns<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/utahschoolgrades.schools.utah.gov\/School\/OverallPerformance?SchoolID=527&amp;DistrictID=480&amp;SchoolNbr=180&amp;SchoolLevel=K8&amp;IsSplitSchool=0&amp;schoolyearendyear=2022\">Plymouth School Grade<\/a> |<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Plymouth Goals The Administration and Teachers will be working on&#8230; Our instructional focus, which is following\u00a0the &#8220;Granite Way.&#8221; The &#8220;Granite Way&#8221; are five areas that teachers must work on per District mandate.
