Dear Parents,
Winter is coming! Today, we brought students inside before school because of the rain and hail. Students did a wonderful job of following the procedures we have in place for bad weather. I thought this would be a good time to remind everyone of what we do in case of bad weather.
On days when the weather is severe, we will continue to be lenient when it comes to absenteeism and tardies. Regardless, parents should be making travel decisions based on what their driveway and neighborhood looks like. It is very important to understand that no student will be penalized for non-attendance or tardies due to weather conditions. As such, please make decisions that are in the best interest of your family. We will be here and will notify you of any impacts to our schedule.
Here is the district published information on school closures. Please review that information and know that we will utilize our phone and email system along with social media (both school and district) to notify you regarding any delays or closures.
