School Safety
At school today we practiced a hard lock down. Our students and teachers did very well practicing correctly in the event of an actual emergency. We practice fire, earthquake, and lockdown drills. This is a good time to discuss emergency procedures with your kids for your home. As I tell the students, safety first! ...
Talent Show
We have a lot of talent and a lot of cute kids here at Rosecrest. We have planned a talent show for Kindergarten through third grades on May 20 at 1:00 and for fourth through sixth grades on May 22 at 1:00. Please plan to join us. Attempted Abduction Update
I spoke with Unified Police and the principal at Highland Park ... it was not an attempted abduction. A man in the neighborhood scared the girl, but did not try to abduct her. It is always good to be aware of our surroundings just as we continually tell the students. As I hear of these things, I will keep you informed. ...

She is safe. Police have been alerted, and ...

Dress Code Reminders
Since spring has sprung (for the most part), this is a reminder about our basic dress code. Students' clothing should be safe, modest, clean, and appropriate. Shorts and skirts should be longer than the finger tips when arms are straight at the sides. Tank tops should have straps at least three fingers wide and not show too much of the underarm area. Flip flops are discouraged due to hurt toes. ...

Each activity has a corresponding BRAG BADGE sponsored by local businesses. When the child completes the activity they go to the sponsoring ...
