Tuesday, January 31 and Wednesday, February 1
On Tuesday and Wednesday, we will be trying an Intervention Time Schedule, where we have 24-minute blocks each day for students to go to specific teachers to get support, get interventions on specific learning standards, and/or retake assessments, etc.
Teachers may reach out inviting specific students to attend their sessions, but all teachers will be available during Intervention Time. As we will only do this for 2 days at this time, it won’t be possible for every student to get to every class. We encourage students to choose the opportunity where they feel the biggest need or know they can get the most accomplished during that 24-minute block. If there is a class where a student needs support but is not able to attend due to using other intervention opportunities, students are always encouraged to work with teachers and use time before or after school as possible in addition to class time.

We will likely try this again towards the end of 3rd quarter, but those details will be forthcoming as we evaluate this first opportunity.
Parents, we encourage you to check-in with your student about how they plan to use this opportunity, especially as we near the midterm date of Friday, February 3 and Parent Teacher Conferences on Wednesday, February 8 and Thursday, February 9. For those not needing intervention, we will provide supervision in common areas.
