Career and Technical Education (CTE) connects classroom learning to real-world careers, hands-on experiences, and opportunities beyond high school. Through CTE courses, students can discover their interests, develop valuable skills, explore career pathways, and prepare for college, technical training, and future employment.<\/p>\n\n

Whether you already know what you want to do after graduation or are still figuring it out, CTE is a great place to start!<\/p>\n\n

What Are CTE Pathways?<\/h2>\n\n

CTE pathways are sequences of related courses that help students explore and develop skills in a particular career field. Rather than taking unrelated electives, students can build on what they’ve learned as they progress through a pathway.<\/p>\n\n

Students can begin exploring pathways early in high school and continue developing their skills through advanced courses, GTI programs, and other career-focused experiences.<\/p>\n\n

Completing a CTE pathway can also qualify students for special recognition at graduation.<\/p>\n\n
