What Is YouScience?<\/h2>\n\n

\n Ever wondered what careers might be a great fit for you?\n YouScience<\/strong> is an online career exploration\n tool that helps students discover their interests, identify\n their natural strengths (called aptitudes<\/strong>),\n and explore careers that align with both.\n <\/p>\n\n

\n Through a series of engaging activities and assessments,\n YouScience provides personalized, research-backed insights\n into how students think, solve problems, and approach\n different types of tasks. It then connects those strengths\n and interests to potential career opportunities.\n <\/p>\n\n

\n Here’s the best part:<\/strong> YouScience isn’t a test\n you pass or fail, and it doesn’t tell you what career you\n have to pursue. Instead, it helps you discover possibilities,\n including careers you may never have considered before!\n <\/p>\n\n \n

Access Your YouScience Account<\/h2>\n\n

\n Skyline students can log in to YouScience using their\n Granite School District Google account. Once logged in,\n students can explore their results, review career matches,\n and revisit their strengths throughout high school.\n <\/p>\n\n

    How We Use YouScience in Freshman Success<\/h2>\n\n

    \n At Skyline High School, career exploration starts early!\n Our Career Center team visits Freshman Success<\/strong>\n classes to help ninth-grade students begin exploring\n their strengths, interests, and future career possibilities.\n <\/p>\n\n

    \n During these visits, students are introduced to YouScience\n and learn how their personal results can connect to\n real-world careers.\n <\/p>\n\n

    \n We also return for a follow-up lesson focused on\n Career & Technical Education (CTE) Pathways<\/strong>.\n Students learn about the different pathways available\n at Skyline and the Granite Technical Institute (GTI),\n explore how their strengths connect to those pathways,\n and begin creating a plan for high school classes\n they may want to take.\n <\/p>\n\n
