School Schedule |
Regular classroom instruction will take place on a Monday through Friday schedule. Office hours 9:05 am – 3:45 pm weekdaysMeetings such as IEPs, 504s, SEPs, etc. may be in-person or virtual based on preference and availability. |
Monitoring Symptoms |
Students/staff who are demonstrating ANY symptom of COVID-19 must stay home.Keep contact numbers current as parents will be contacted by the school demonstrating symptoms.Case counts will be monitored by the county health department dashboard.Students or staff that are exposed to COVID-19 will work with the health department regarding quarantine. Those who are exposed will NOT be quarantined if: they had a confirmed case of COVID-19 in the past 90 days, have been fully vaccinated, the positive individual and the exposed individual were both wearing masks at the time of exposure, or if non-immunized they wear a mask for 10 days following exposure.Our goal is to keep children healthy while attending school in-person. |
Masks |
Per health department recommendations, masks are STRONGLY RECOMMENDED for all students and staff while indoors, but NOT required. Masks will be available to students and staff upon request.Harassment in any form, directed either at those who wear face coverings or those who choose not to, will not be tolerated. |
Enhanced Environment Hygiene and Safety |
Schools will remain mindful of cleanliness to the highest degree possible.Hospital grade air filtration and circulation (up to four times per hour) will continue.Cleaning and disinfecting of high touch surfaces will occur throughout the day.Hand sanitizer will be available. |
Physical Distancing |
In all areas of our school, we will remain mindful of safe spacing to the highest degree possible. Cohorts of students will be maintained to the greatest extent possible in all areas of the school to ensure student safety.(Entrance/Exits): Exit and entries are one way(Hallways): Physical distance in hallways(Classrooms): Space out student desks where feasible and allow students flexible seating as needed.(Lunchroom): Space students out while eating lunch; hand sanitizer available(Playground): Physical distancing when lining up(Group gathering areas): Limit assemblies to smaller cohorts and space students out in large gathering areas like PE or Music |
