{"id":6034,"date":"2021-10-26T13:56:06","date_gmt":"2021-10-26T19:56:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/schools.graniteschools.org\/stansbury\/?page_id=6034"},"modified":"2025-05-19T10:46:03","modified_gmt":"2025-05-19T16:46:03","slug":"recess-weather-info","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/schools.graniteschools.org\/stansbury\/recess-weather-info\/","title":{"rendered":"Weather Policy"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We would like to make sure that you are aware of our expectations for the chilly time of the school year.&nbsp; Students should be dressed and prepared for the cold&nbsp;weather&nbsp;with the following items; warm coats, sweaters\/ hoodies, boots, hats, scarves, mittens\/gloves etc.&nbsp; Please make sure that these items are marked, in case they are misplaced or lost.&nbsp; Students should come prepared to go outside, get some fresh air, and exercise outdoors, on a daily basis.&nbsp; If students are not well enough to go outside, please keep them home until they are feeling better.&nbsp; The exceptions to going out daily, are listed below:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00a0<strong>Morning:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Inside morning in the gym, IF there is <strong>significant<\/strong> rain fall or snow fall. (IF students will be getting wet, outside.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Inside morning in the gym, IF the temperature is below 20 degrees.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Students sitting on their pockets, no running around, playing sports etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Inside mornings are from 8:20-8:35 to ensure our outside duty teachers are in the gym to help supervise.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Recess:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Teacher\/Grade Level Discretion<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Inside recess IF the temperature is below 20 degrees.
