Advanced Placement courses are college level classes that expect students to be prepared for an extensive and rigorous study of the curricular area. Students in these courses can expect 1-2 hours of homework every night. The purpose of these courses is to prepare students for the AP exam in May. Earning a score of 3 or above on the AP exam allows the student opportunity to receive college credit. Find out how AP credit is placed at a specific college.
