Online Re-enrollment Opens July 31 – Prepare Now!
Online Re-enrollment for the 2026-2027 school year opens Friday, July 31. To help make the process as smooth as possible, we encourage families to log in to their Focus Parent Portal account before re-enrollment opens. If you’ve forgotten your password, reset it now rather than waiting until re-enrollment day.
A few helpful reminders:
- Use your Focus Parent account—not your student’s account—to complete re-enrollment.
- If you’re having trouble logging in, avoid creating a new account, as this can cause delays and additional issues.
- Visit our Parent Portal Resources page for tutorials and other helpful Focus resources.
- If you need assistance after July 29th, contact your child’s school first. School staff can resolve many account and re-enrollment questions and will refer more complex issues for additional support if needed.
Taking a few minutes to verify your account now can save you time and help ensure a smooth re-enrollment experience for your family.
Please go to the Granite School District Registration Information page. This page is designed for your reference providing detailed information and forms that you will need to read and sign once you log into the parent portal and register your student for the upcoming 26-27 school year. This page is primarily for students who are currently attending school within the Granite School District. You and your students are encouraged to read the information on this page and refer to it as questions arise.
If you have just moved into the district during the school year, you will need to visit your school to register. Find your school using our school boundary search.
All new students, per state law, who register for school will need:
- Guardian identification and proof of residency
- Proof of immunizations
- Birth certificate of student
Fee Waiver
It is important for parents and students to know about the fees, policies, and requirements that are expected of each student in Granite School District. It is our intention that no student will be left out of a quality educational experience because the family cannot afford to pay the fees. Information regarding qualifications for fee waivers can be found below. Course, class, and extracurricular fees were approved by the granite Board of Education on March 31, 2026.
Window for Application of Fee Waiver:
- Parent/guardian must apply for fee waiver within 30 school days of the first day of school.
- Students entering school after the year begins, has 30 school days to apply for fee waiver from the day they registered.
- Student with financial emergency (job loss, major illness, or income loss) has 30 school days from the qualifying event to apply for fee waiver. Only fees assessed after application will be waived; no reimbursement for previously paid fees.
Application that waives school fees for qualifying students can be found on the Utah State Board of Education – School Fees, underneath the header Forms and then School Fee Waiver Applications. Choose the application that matches you student’s grade level. You will complete this form on-line in the parent portal as you register your student. Click here for instructions on filling out forms through the parent portal. You will need to have supporting income documentation to apply.
