I am excited to be the principal at Taylorsville High School. The school’s deep-rooted traditions and its role as a community-centered institution truly resonate with me. Our outstanding staff is dedicated to nurturing our students and supporting their success.
I spent nine years teaching Health and Physical Education at West Lake Junior High in North Carolina and Mapleton Junior High in Utah. My journey into administration began with seven years as an AssistantPrincipal at Kearns Junior High, Hunter High, and Skyline High School.
For the past decade, I have served as a Junior High Principal—eight years at Eisenhower Junior High School and the last two at Kearns Junior High School. My focus has been on creating an environment where every student feels both supported and challenged.
Outside of school, I am a proud parent of six children, ages 14 to 26, and a grandparent to a wonderful grandson. I enjoy spending time with my family and engaging in outdoor activities. I grew up in Bremerton, Washington, and earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Washington. I completed my Master’s degree at North Carolina State University.
