Good evening Truman families. This is our update for the week of November 15, 2015.
This will be a regular 5 day week with early day on Friday.
We have 3 announcements this week.
- The Granite Education Foundation is again sponsoring the Wasatch Savings Book fundraiser. Each student will bring home one savings book on Tuesday. Students can either sell the book or return it; either way, they will get a prize. If students want to sell more than one book, they can pick up another book when the money for the previous book is returned.
- On Thursday at 2:30, we will be having our maturation program. For students in 5th and 6th grade, no further action is needed for them to attend the program unless you do not want them to attend. If that is the case, sign and return the form that was sent home last week stating you do NOT want your student to participate. Girls in 4th grade are also welcome to attend this program. These 4th grade girls must have a permission slip to attend. As always, parents are welcome to attend with their child. Please note: the calendar that was sent home at the beginning of the month incorrectly said that this program would be on Wednesday. The correct day is Thursday @ 2:30. It is correct on the marquee and on the website.
- Finally, on the website, we had listed a cyber safety meeting at 2:00 on Thursday. This has been cancelled and rescheduled for March.
