Weekly update 10-15-17

October 15, 2017 by J. Etherington

Good evening Truman families. This is our update for the week of October 15.
1. This is a short week. Early day is Wednesday, and there is no school on Thursday or Friday.
2. Vision screening will be Monday for all students in KG, 1st, 3rd, and 5th grade. Please be sure your student wears their glasses.
3. On Tuesday, Community Nursing services will be here from 4-6 giving flu shots if you are interested. Cost is $35. Many insurances are accepted. If you are unable to pay, you may go to West Kearns Elementary for your flu shot on this day.
4. Many have called in asking about our Halloween parade. Our parade and parties will be on Thursday, October 26. Masks can be worn during the parade only and no weapon facsimiles are allowed. Please be in the gym by 9:30. Remember to get a hall pass from the office if you need to go to the classrooms. A restroom is available in the office. No Halloween costumes are allowed on Halloween day.
Thank you.
