Dear Parents and Guardians,
You should have received a message yesterday from the Granite School District Communications Department about a required form (click here) wherein you will indicate whether you intend to have your child participate in school by way of face-to-face instruction or distance learning.
This form will be available and required during registration (unless you have already completed it). If you choose to return the form sooner than that, please email it to me at email@example.com since the office is closed until July 27th.
I have heard from a few of you that it is difficult to decide until you are made aware of the ways in which we, at the school, will be ensuring the safety, health, and well-being of you child. I can assure that we plan to do all we can to keep your child safe. The message included a link
that had more information about the district’s plan. There is great information there and I strongly suggest you look through it. The school plan will align to the district plan, along with additional procedures specific to our school and its needs. The school plan will be made available to you before registration begins and will be sent out as well as posted on the school website.
School Registration will be July 29th (kindergarten and new students) and 30th (returning students) from 7am to 6pm. There will also be an online registration option available for returning students that will be available beginning July 28th (more information on online registration, including instructions, will be sent out on July 27th).
As I stated in my previous letter, we are excited to have you and child return to Truman. We miss you dearly and look forward to working with you again. We will do all we can to ensure the best possible education for your child, whether that be through face-to-face instruction or distance learning.
