Dear Parents/Guardians,
We are looking forward to providing the students at Vista a memorable Halloween experience. This year we will be having a parade. The parade will take place outside on our east playground on Friday, October 29th. Students will begin their parade route at approximately 8:55 am. We are asking students to arrive in their costumes.
To assist in making this a positive experience for all, please follow the following guidelines:
* Select a costume that is modest and appropriate – maintaining the school dress code
* Remember that weapons or replicas of weapons are not allowed in public schools
* Masks can impair the vision of a student and become a safety issue
* It is recommended that costumes be worn over a student’s school clothes to assist in
being prepared in their school clothing for instruction
The school along with the PTO will be providing treats and fun activities for the students throughout the morning. Please do not send any food or treats to share. We want to provide a safe and fun opportunity for the students while still following the Covid-19 guidelines.
Thank you for helping us keep this a fun and positive activity.
Julie Wilson
Principal
(In the event of inclement weather, the parade will be cancelled.)
Please dress warmly.
Breakfast in the classroom will be served to the students upon entering their classroom.
