September 25, 2024

Dear Parents/Guardians,

We are looking forward to providing the students at Vista a memorable Halloween experience.   Vista will be holding their Halloween parade on Thursday, October 31st at approximately 9:15 am.  The parade will be held outside on the east playground. Please feel free to bring lawn chairs and blankets.   We are asking students to arrive in their costumes.

To assist in making this a positive experience for all, please follow the following guidelines:

* Select a costume that is modest and appropriate – maintaining the school dress code

* Remember that weapons or replicas of weapons are not allowed in public schools

* No Masks – Masks can impair the vision of a student and become a safety issue

* Please be sure they have clothes to change into after the parade

The school along with the PTA will be providing classroom treats and fun activities for the students throughout the morning.  Halloween bags will be provided for the students.  Students can bring store bought prepackaged/individually wrapped Halloween treats and cards to share with their classmates.  These items will be put in their bags to take home.

Thank you for helping us keep this a fun and positive activity.

Julie Wilson

Principal

(In the event of inclement weather, the parade will be cancelled.)
