Message from the Principal
Our 7th graders will be going on a field trip in December, and we are looking for 20 parent volunteers to join us. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Mary Basso or Renee Dehaan. All volunteers will also need to go to the Granite School District Office to be fingerprinted (at no cost) prior to the trip. Thank you for your support in making this a great experience for our students!
Thank you, 8th grade parents, for taking the time to meet with our counselors for your student’s College and Career Readiness (CCR) meeting. We appreciate your partnership and involvement in helping guide your student’s educational journey. We are proud to share that we had a 99% completion rate for CCR meetings — an incredible accomplishment made possible by your support!
Counseling Corner
The counselors are excited to announce College Week will be November 17th- 21st. We will have many fun activities related to college going on throughout the week. One of those activities is a practice college application. This year’s application will be for the Pokémon Trainers School. The application will open this coming Wednesday and close on the 21st. It can be found on students’ Canvas home page. Students who complete the application will be able to participate in a fun activity during College Week where they can catch Pokémon throughout the school. We look forward to reading your student’s application!
Positive Behavior Weekly Goal
Wasatch teachers and students are focusing on becoming “Better Together” by learning about respect. During first quarter we are learning about ways that students can show respect to teachers. Please discuss the weekly goal with your student to support our focus for the year.
