The Latest Principal’s Message: 5.17.19
Dear Parents and Students,
Can you believe that we are at the end of the school year? It has been a great year. Thank you for your support and helping us create a great school. I am truly appreciative for all the time and energy volunteered this year. You are the reason Wasatch is an excellent school. Thank you.
If you haven’t already, please pay your student’s school fees. Yearbooks will not be handed out to students with unpaid fees. They will receive their yearbook on May 28th. Also, the School District is requiring us to submit unpaid fees by June 3rd, so please help us in this situation.
8th Grade Celebration Party
On Tuesday, May 28 at 2-4pm we will have the 8th celebration party. There is no cost for the students for this activity. We will have games, activities, music, food and they will receive their yearbook a day early. (If all fees have been paid) Thanks be given to the PTA for organizing and carrying out this event.
School Satisfaction Survey
Parents if you would be so kind as to take a couple of minutes and respond to the survey link below. Wasatch uses this information to drive decisions made at the school to improve the education, customer service and concerns at Wasatch Jr. High.
Community Council Elections
Wasatch will have three openings on the School Community Council for next year. If you are interested in running the Candidate Declaration Form can be found on our website and is due by August 30, 2019. The elections will occur the 2nd week of September. This is a great way to get involved at your student’s school and help make decisions for funding learning and growth at Wasatch. If you have questions, come speak with Mr. Anderson or email and I’ll get you the information you’re seeking.
