Fourth graders, dressed as pioneers, treated parents and students to a wonderful musical journey through Utah’s great history. The audience learned about the explorations and early settlements of Utah by Native Americans, mountain men, people of faith, and others. The fourth graders even showed off their newly acquired recorder playing talent! They ended by having the audience join them in singing Utah’s official state song. After the program, parents and students had a little old-fashioned fun dancing the Virginia Reel together.
