Dear West Kearns Elementary Families,
As of 4 a.m. and after monitoring road conditions overnight, this record-breaking winter storm which impacted the entire state yesterday, continues to present transportation challenges for tens of thousands of our families and employees. Because of this, the district will be switching to a distance learning day for all schools on Thursday, February 23, 2023.

Virtual Zoom Meetings
Teachers will continue to provide virtual classroom meetings where students can check in to receive support on the materials assigned for the day. These virtual classroom meetings will be 30 minutes long and hosted twice each day that we are dismissed due to weather. Please see below for grade-level meeting times. Attendance to one of these meetings each day of dismissal is encouraged, but not required.
