We had a great first day of school at Woodstock Elementary! All of the kids, teachers, and staff were able to go outside with their protective glasses and observe the solar eclipse. It was fun to see the kids’ excitement as they saw the eclipse for the first time and when they noticed the way the sun projected shadows on the ground/building. We also had the privilege of having the district science coordinator, Stephanie Wood, join us and teach the students about the significance of this rare event. We hope your kids were excited to tell you all about it when they got home.
