{"id":11,"date":"2013-04-01T14:05:38","date_gmt":"2013-04-01T20:05:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/schools.graniteschools.org\/woodstock\/?page_id=11"},"modified":"2023-09-10T19:28:29","modified_gmt":"2023-09-11T01:28:29","slug":"about-us","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/schools.graniteschools.org\/woodstock\/about-us\/","title":{"rendered":"About Us"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">School Background<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Woodstock is located in the southeast corner of Granite School District and serves students from the Cottonwood Network of schools in grades K-5. &nbsp;We also serve preschool age students through Granite School District Preschool Services.&nbsp; Woodstock also serves as an Advanced Learning Center (ALC) for gifted students.&nbsp; We have ALC classes in grades 1st &#8211; 5th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Woodstock has a long history of serving the community since 1906. The school has a strong PTA and high levels of parent engagement. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Enrollment<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Woodstock serves about 575 students from kindergarten through 5th grade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Computers and technology<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Woodstock is committed to the use of technology in the classroom. &nbsp;We currently have a 1:1 device to student ratio. Teachers receive monthly professional development to continue learning innovative ways to incorporate technology into teaching and learning.
