School background<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gearld L. Wright Elementary School was named after a former mayor and educator in West Valley City. Mayor Wright always supported education and formed a sister-city\/school alliance with the city of Nantou, Taiwan. The \u201cWright Wildcats\u201d has been a school since 2006.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
