Dear Granite School District Colleagues,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am pleased to share that I have been selected to serve as an Albert Einstein Distinguished Educator Fellow<\/strong> for the 2026\u20132027 fellowship year. The Einstein Fellowship is a nationally recognized program that places exemplary STEM educators with federal agencies and congressional offices to contribute their classroom expertise to national education policy and program development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During my fellowship, I am serving in the office of Congresswoman Melanie Stansbury in Washington, DC, where I collaborate with leaders and policymakers to support initiatives that strengthen teaching and learning across the country. This opportunity allows me to bring the perspectives of our school community to a national stage while expanding my own professional knowledge and network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I also want to share that applications are now open<\/strong> for the next cohort of Albert Einstein Distinguished Educator Fellows. The application deadline for the 2027-2028 program is November 5, 2026, at 8:00pm ET. Educators interested in contributing to national STEM education policy and experiencing this unique professional growth opportunity can learn more and apply at:\u00a0 https:\/\/science.osti.gov\/wdts\/Einstein<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although I will be away from Granite School District during this period, I remain deeply committed to our students, staff, and community. I am grateful for the support of the district, my colleagues, and the broader community in making this opportunity possible.
