Neil Armstrong Academy conducted two nights for registration this last week: one at Valley Crest Elementary and one at the Granite Education Center. During the two nights, the majority of Armstrong students took care of their registration for the upcoming school year.
The first night featured an enormous crowd that, unfortunately, caused wait times up to an hour. The second night was the exact opposite with lines never longer than a minute or two. Before the event, parents were encouraged to take care of a portion of the registration online and qualify for the “fast lane.” Because of the lopsided nature of the crowds, however, the fast lane seemed to be non-existent at Valley Crest and the only lane available at the GEC. Go figure! But, even with the long lines at Valley Crest, parents and students demonstrated remarkable patience and cheerfulness throughout. Additionally, the PTA and other volunteers were an enormous help to the entire process.
