Each week we seem to add another piece to Neil Armstrong Academy. From the teachers, to the PTA, to the students through registration, to each new staff member who comes along, each day the school becomes less of a hypothetical and more of a reality. And, with each day, I feel more and more excited about the great adventure we’re about to undertake together.
Nothing made this feel more real for me than getting to sit and visit with future Armstrong students and parents at the registration event last week. Even with enormous crowds on one of the nights, I had a chance to visit for a moment with so many of the students and parents who will be the heart of Neil Armstrong Academy. I went home both evenings elated by many fun new friendships. Thank you for making it a memorable experience for me.
And, thank you again for your tremendous patience with the long lines on the first night of registration. It’s a pity we didn’t have Space Mountain waiting for you at the end of the line. That might have made it feel more worthwhile. Maybe next time!
