The first day is almost here! And with it, comes instructions concerning student drop off, line up, and first day activities.
The best information will come from our first-ever episode of ABC (Armstrong Broadcast Corporation) News. Please make sure you watch it before the first-day of school and encourage others to watch it as well. As much as possible, we want everyone to be on the same page and know what to expect.
The episode explains and demonstrates the student loading/unloading process as well as student line up. Those instructions will come home in the first-day packet, but they’re all available to print right here. Click on the image below:
Also, the video explains our plans for an informal “open house” on the morning of the first day of school. We plan to open the doors of the school to allow parents and students to come in and see the facilities and even meet the teacher. That open house will continue until just before 8:50. By 8:50, we ask that students and parents vacate the building and that students line up at their recess doors and be ready for their teachers to bring them in officially.
Unfortunately, the breakfast program has been delayed and will not begin during the first three days of school. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.
We’re looking forward to that first day!
