Above and Beyond

Now announcing the Above and Beyond bulletin! You can expect to receive this bulletin each and every Wednesday. The Above and Beyond will feature the comings and goings of Neil Armstrong Academy and keep you informed of important events on our horizon. Additionally, we’ll highlight the outstanding achievements of our students.

Thank you, everyone, who helped make the start of our new school such a success. For none is this more true than for our outstanding teachers. In spite of the incompleteness of our facilities, our teachers created a fantastic, safe learning environment from day one. Thank you, teachers!

As the year begins to slip into a rhythm, I am thrilled to watch the students, teachers, and parents alike begin to shape the routines and traditions that, I imagine, will someday define us. We have an extraordinary opportunity to shape Neil Armstrong Academy just the way we want. A volunteer pulled me aside yesterday to comment on the respect and ownership she witnessed in our some of our 5th and 6th graders. I was thrilled to hear it.
