The Granite Education Foundation surprised the Armstrong student body on Tuesday morning with a $5,000 grant donation toward the school weather station project. This brings the grand total raised for the project to approximately $12,500 and much closer to the $20,000 needed to start purchasing the first pieces of equipment.
The hoped-for weather station will greatly enhance the curriculum experience for students by providing constant, on-site data for our young Armstrong scientists to work with, and it will be a needed data point for the entire meteorology community in Salt Lake City.
