Armstrong 5th graders had a very unique opportunity this past Monday. At Junior Achievement Biz Town, students experienced life in the career of a Utah grown up. For one entire day, they earned money, paid bills, collaborated in conference rooms, ran businesses, voted, and, above all, showed how to apply their learning in versatile and fluid conditions. When Mr. Howe and Mr. Goebel showed up at the midpoint to see how the day was going, very few students could spare more than a couple of minutes to visit given their busy schedules.
Armstrong students took their responsibilities to heart and demonstrated that Utah’s future looks very bright!
