After weeks and weeks (or, rather, months and months) of studying and preparing, students have arrived at the all-important purpose of the Armstrong Games—Game Day. Although our upper grades have been in the thick of end-of-year testing for a few weeks now, the younger grades have joined the party this week as they’ve begun their end-of-year DIBELS reading fluency benchmark.
The performance by early participants has put smiles on many faces, students and teachers alike. Even at this early stage, students are making the case for Armstrong to divvy out plenty of gold medals. We’re seeing many “personal bests” in the making. That’s a nice problem to have!
