It’s almost here! The first day of school is only five days away!
In anticipation of that exciting event, we’re releasing the first episode of season 2 of ABC News a little early. This will help with some of the instructions related to that day (i.e. parking and line up, etc.).
In addition, we’d like to invite anyone to attend our Back-to-School Morning on the first day of school. Students with their parents can enter the building beginning at 8:00. By 8:15, teachers will be in their classrooms, and students and parents can get a look in on the new year. We’ll invite all students to exit the building at 8:40, so they can line up at their grade-level doors and come in collectively with their class by 8:45. This is 10 minutes later than they’ll usually come in. The first bell ordinarily rings at 8:35.
After students are settled in their classrooms, we invite parents to attend a short back-to-school morning orientation in the gym. This will run from 8:50 until 9:15 and will provide parents a great deal of useful information on the new school year.
We’re so excited for another start at Neil Armstrong Academy (and even more excited the building is finished this time around). I look forward to seeing you on the first day.
