During the spring and summer many components of the new Armstrong weather station (including the Eagle-Eye Cam) were installed and launched. This equipment has brought university-caliber weather data to the students and patrons of Neil Armstrong Academy. The final pieces are being put into place right now, and we look forward to completing the project within the month.
If you haven’t had the chance to yet, be sure to check out the Eagle-Eye Cam and the data the weather station collects on our website. The weather station provides a 24-7 video feed of the Wasatch Front, and allows users to watch a time lapse of the latest weather patterns.
We owe an enormous thank you (bigger than we’ll ever be able to provide) to Robert Goodick, a patron at our school, for heading up the fundraising efforts and to the many companies who donated to this project.
We’re planning a weather-station unveiling event soon.
