Neil Armstrong Academy is an exciting place to be . . . there’s no doubt about that. And, because of that, Armstrong seems to attract many, many visitors. Educators from all over the state (and beyond) peek in on the exciting STEM-school activities going on at Armstrong. As an organization dedicated to educating everyone, we love to share.
Among the most thrilling aspects of entertaining our many guests is watching the Armstrong students themselves teaching teachers, principals, and even superintendents about what they’re doing. Each class has a couple of class ambassadors who are always ready to hop up and greet any guests who walk through the door, to introduce themselves, and to explain what activities are going on in the classroom that day. This week, as the superintendency and other leaders of Alpine School District visited our school, a couple of sixth graders showed off their Armstrong Evernote Digital Portfolios. The educators from Alpine walked away as impressed with the Armstrong students as with anything else. Nice work, Eagles!
