This week, a new friend joined Armstrong Academy. His name is LEM, and he’s the new school pet. LEM is a squirrel, and he’s built himself a lovely little home visible in the mechanical room that houses our geo-thermal pumps. LEM was featured on this week’s ABC News wearing the small helmet cam students can see stored on the post near LEM’s house.
Because LEM is so interested in anything involved with math or science, he’s given the Armstrong students a problem to solve for him. LEM wants to know how many 7s are found on the lockers at Armstrong. All week, students have been examining the lockers trying to collect data to solve LEM’s challenge. Parents can participate, too. Find all the information for LEM’s puzzle and 10 other problems in the Armstrong Challenge on our school website. Good luck!
