On Thursday, December 11th, at 2:00 PM, the Armstrong Weather Station will be officially unveiled. This university-caliber weather station is the result of the generous donations of many, many individuals and corporations and hundreds of hours of legwork by Mr. Robert Goodick, one of Neil Armstrong Academy’s patrons. The station includes equipment that returns precise enough data to provide the Armstrong students a seat at the scientific/meteorological table here in Utah. Already, Armstrong is viewed as a legitimate weather data point for meteorologists throughout the state. Our students, even at this young age, will not operate in hypotheticals when it comes to working with the data the weather station provides. Instead, they will be the first-line scientists using the data for many different problem-solving directions.
Space will be limited (possible to overflow only), but we invite all who want to attend the ribbon-cutting event.
