Armstrong students returned from the winter break ready to show off their stuff on how much they had progressed in half a year on their reading fluency. Although the official mClass Home Connect letters won’t come out for another couple of weeks (watch for them), the initial reports show some great improvement in just those few short months. As an entire school, we’ve seen the percentage of students at the red level (Well Below Benchmark) drop from 19% to 15%. Additionally, We’ve seen the percentage of students at the green level (benchmark) increase from 70% to 73%.
We’ll be highlighting student individual reports in the next few weeks as we help each student set an end-of-year goal.
