Well, they’re off and running. The 2015 coders got their start last Friday morning. The Armstrong Code Club meets every Friday during the second half of the year before school begins to practice coding skills and, essentially, to become fluent in another language. In many ways, this language is the prerequisite for many of the jobs of our kids’ future. Students in the Code Club use the extension lesson plans from code.org as their curriculum.
With over 180 participants this year, Code Club represents approximately 25% of the entire school. Wow! What a fun group!
