SAGE Writing Test

Last year, the Armstrong students set the bar high with their performance in the “Armstrong Games” and on the end-of-year SAGE testing. What was so exciting about their accomplishment is that each student was working to establish a personal best independent of anyone else. Students knew how they had performed on previous tests, and they set a goal to beat their old best scores. Well, in that endeavor, the students really hit out of the ballpark. Nearly every student set a personal best in some category of the process.

Although we’ll kick off the 2015 version of the Armstrong Games in March, this year students will complete one facet of the end-of-year SAGE testing during the first weeks of February. Students in grades 3-6 will participate in the first-ever SAGE writing test. Please help your student understand the significance of doing their very best on this test and help them arrive to school on their testing day well rested, well fed, and ready to go. We want to see every student at Armstrong do his or her very best.
