The next Armstrong Community Council meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 18th at 4:00 in the school library. Community Councils play a very significant role in improving student achievement in each local school. By sharing their unique perspectives and expertise, parents, teachers and administrators have a wonderful opportunity to address the critical academic needs of the school.
This meeting is especially important because we will be voting on the new LAND Trust plan for the 2015-2016 school year. This plan spells out how LAND Trust funds will be allocated to best support the student learning needs at Armstrong. You can review the draft version of the plan on our school webpage under the “Community Council” section.
Additionally, Mike Fraser, the assistant superintendent of Granite School District, will be in attendance to discuss some of the plans concerning the secondary STEM school.
If you can’t make the meeting, watch for the minutes online and for a recap on ABC News.
We hope to see you there!
