The Clash of Classes has begun! On Monday, the Armstrong student body participated in the opening ceremonies for this year’s installment of the Armstrong Games. Students work to achieve a “personal best” on the end-of-year DIBELS or SAGE tests and, along the way, participate in a variety of friendly competitions with the other classes on their grade level. Thus, we have dubbed it: Clash of Classes.
During the first four weeks of the competition, the class-to-class battles are reward activities for students who complete their personal training charts. During the last two weeks, those battles shift to an academic tournament to review key concepts the students have learned throughout the year. All parts will be a lot of fun, and, at the end, one class in each grade level will be crowned the champion.
