The 2015 Halloween Parade will pass through the gym at approximately 9:10 on October 29th. We encourage all parents and family members to come enjoy the parade with us. Families should find a seat in the multipurpose room to see their student(s) pass by.
Please remember, Granite District policy prohibits weapons, toy weapons, or look-alike weapons. Also, at Armstrong we ask that the dress code as outlined in the student code of conduct be followed as usual. Students are allowed to wear masks if they are part of their costume during the parade only. After the parade, we ask that students remove their costumes and settle in for a regular Thursday school day. Any other Halloween festivities will be conducted toward the conclusion of the day.
To spice things up a bit this year, we’ll be presenting a few awards on the first ABC News episode after Halloween for the best costumes in the following categories:
- Best Science costume
- Best Technology costume
- Best Engineering costume
- Best Mathematics costume
- Best look-a-like
- Best Disney character
- Best movie character
- Best book character
- Spookiest costume
- Best sports costume
- Best animal costume
- Best face painting
- Best homemade costume
- Best superhero costume
- Most original costume
- Top Prize Best of Show
