Here are some great tips to help get your students to school on time:
*Set a regular bedtime and wake-up time. Set morning and evening routines.
*Choose clothes and prepare backpacks the night before.
*Only keep your child home if he/she is truly sick – not because of anxiety or to care for younger siblings.
*If your child is anxious about school, talk to the teacher or counselor.
*Make back-up plans for days you are unable to get your child to school.
*Plan dental visits, doctor visits and trips during non-school days/hours.
