2014-2015 Registration
On Tuesday, August 5th, Neil Armstrong Academy held its registration event. With the majority of people able to complete most (if not all) of the registration process online, crowds were sparse, and wait times were short. However, the occasion marked the first official event of the new school year, and it was great to see so many of the students back in the school. If you have not completed your registration for next school year, please do ...
Good Bye, 6th Grade!
As the book end for the first-day kindergarten "clap in," the last-day "clap out" was the final goodbye for our Armstrong sixth graders. Students from every grade lined the hallways of the school during the last fifteen minutes to clap, wave, and cheer on our wonderful sixth graders as they leave our school for junior high. We'll miss them! [youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ipUAHIwG_Y&w=560&h=315] ...

Students worked to earn the most points for their grade-level team by bringing in pennies for their own jar and bringing in other coins or bills for the jars of their opponents. All pennies counted as positive points. All other denominations counted negatively. The contest went back and forth throughout the entire eight days, but, in ...

One Small Step – New School Song Unveiled
The Armstrong Rocketeers unveiled the new school song, One Small Step, to the Armstrong student body this afternoon, and it was a big hit. The music and lyrics were written by Becky Crowther, with the musical talent of Debbie Kerby--both conductors of the school choir. The song appropriately nods to Armstrong Academy's great namesake and celebrates the school's focus on a "STEM" approach to learning. In no small way, these students have just ...
